1. By legacy we mean that which is handed down from generation to generation be it property or a spiritual tradition.

2. What we are trying to get our audience to see is the unique material and spiritual value we have in our hands generated by the life and work of Mother Dorothy King, the distinguished senior lay leader from within the distinct Reformation African American Lutheran congregation originally of Chicago’s Far Southside presently of the North Loop.

3. We hold that Mother King’s material and spiritual Reformation African American Lutheran legacy must be actively preserved, passed on, and not lost. Indeed this is a key sub-calling {sub-text} of our ministry.
